DESCRIPTION
The field of physician health is rapidly evolving. Now, more than ever before, our Professional Health Program (PHP) members serve other health professionals in addition to physicians. PHPs and treatment strategies are growing, changing, and adapting in response to the needs of professional and medical communities nationwide. Assuring the health of professionals requires a commitment to collaboration, forward-thinking, and empowerment of others. We will be discussing how PHPs can expand their reach to target populations, broaden their program's resources and services, and address quality/performance to improve effectiveness.

Learn and compare how other PHPs are impacting the field through one of the following tracks:
  • Administration of PHPs: topics to include strategic planning, funding, budgeting, growth, organizational structure, leadership, legal issues impacting PHPs such as 42 CFR, peer review and confidentiality, and public relations.
  • Case Management: topics include discussions about penetrance, theoretical approaches to care, utilization of data, referral management, and systematic monitoring.
  • Conditions Requiring Treatment: topics include interdisciplinary assessment and treatment outcomes, integration of toxicology results in decision making, and data informed diagnostics.
