Job Summary: Professionals Resource Network, Inc. (“PRN”) is an operator of the State of Florida’s impaired practitioner program. Through the program, PRN coordinates and manages the evaluation and referral of licensees and licensure applicants to approved treatment programs and treatment providers and then monitors the progress of program participants. The purpose of the program is to serve impaired and potentially impaired practitioners for the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the public. PRN does not provide direct patient care. Medical Director, Health Assistance interVention Education Network for Connecticut Health Professionals, Inc. (HAVEN)

Job Summary: HAVEN is a non-profit organization established by professional membership organizations to provide intervention, support, and accountability for professionals licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health and Department of Consumer Protection/Drug control Division who have a diagnosis or situation which could affect their ability to practice safely. Examples of these conditions include substance abuse or dependence, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, degenerative neurologic conditions, and cognitive disorders.  

The Medical Director contributes to and implements the standards for the operational excellence of the program. He or she will work with the CEO as a public voice of HAVEN with training programs, organizational leadership, and others.  The successful candidate will be an MD or DO, with prior management experience, and board certification, in internal medicine, psychiatry, and/or addiction medicine. Experience in substance use and mental health treatment as well as demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to quality improvement and operational excellence are desired qualifications. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with relationship-centered interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and a hands-on leadership style.

Job Summary: The Case Director is accountable to the CEO and Associate Medical Director of the North Carolina Professionals. Health Program. The Case Director must be able to deal with complex addiction and psychiatric problems in physicians/physician assistants, pharmacist and pharmacy personnel, veterinarians, and licensed clinical mental health counselors and is required to gather and interpret clinical data regarding these persons when they are referred to NCPHP.  This position requires the ability to assist in identification, investigation and intervention of health care professionals with substance use disorders, mental health, or adjustment issues.

Clinical Coordinator - West Virginia Medical Professionals Health Program, Inc.

Job Summary: The WV Medical Professionals Health Program is a nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable corporation. The WVMPHP is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of physicians and healthcare professionals who may be at risk of substance use disorders and mental health conditions which may impact the practice of medicine. The position is full-time. Some travel is to be expected for educational presentations, annual conferences and case management in-person meetings. The position reports to the Administrator and the Medical Director.

POSITION SUMMARY: Full-time, salaried position. Works in collaboration with the Medical Director and staff, providing initial intake interviews, obtaining collateral data, maintain discussions with participants, coordination of evaluation/treatment center services including discharge planning, policy development, and oversees case managers in the monitoring of compliance, associated processes involved and addressing participation inquiries. Position also includes measuring quality assurance and assisting the Medical Director in providing education/lectures related to substance use disorder (SUD), mental health, stress, burnout, and the PHP. Position requires some travel. Other related program activities as may be assigned. This is a non-treatment position, in that there is NOT a provider-patient relationship; (Core case management function from both clinical and administrative perspectives, as distinguished from a direct treatment role in providing services to program participants). The annual compensation for this position $65,000+ depending on qualifications, experience and skills, plus benefits with the opportunity for growth.
