Now Available: FSPHP & FSMB Joint Session Video – Confidentiality, Safety, Collaboration, and Care in a Physician’s Journey

This powerful, eye-opening, complimentary 90-minute session could transform the way we think about mental health and recovery.

The joint session of the Federation of State Physician Health Programs (FSPHP) and the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), held on April 25th in Seattle, reveals the life-saving impact of Physician Health Programs (PHPs) and makes a compelling case for broader reform. It highlights how compassionate, confidential, and continuous care not only transforms but often saves physicians' lives—raising critical questions about why this model isn’t more widely available.

Hear from leading voices in physician health, Dr. Michael Baron and Dr. Stephen Loyd, as they share firsthand insights on how PHPs—centered on support and rehabilitation—deliver extraordinary outcomes. Dr. Loyd’s personal story is profoundly moving and deeply insightful—his raw, honest sharing is truly commendable.

When physicians face mental health or substance use challenges, these programsrestore lives and careers while ensuring patient safety.
