FSPHP Participates in Healthcare Workforce Well-Being Day

Dr. Chris Bundy, FSPHP CMO and WPHP Medical Director, Dr. Art Hengerer, FSPHP Board Member, Robin McCown (GA PHP and Lorna Breen Heroes Ambassador), Dr. Jeff Selzer (NY PHP) and Linda Bresnahan, FSPHP Executive Director had the honor of participating in Healthcare Workforce Well-Being Day at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center and hosted by the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes' Foundation!

The event began with a keynote by Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Places to Work, emphasizing the role of listening in healthcare leadership, followed by a panel discussion on Leadership in Action: Creating a Culture of Wellbeing. Afternoon sessions highlighted the power of listening and storytelling in driving workplace cultural change.

Day one concluded with J. Corey Feist, JD, MBA unveiling a new initiative of the ALL IN: Wellbeing First for Healthcare, a national coalition led by the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation, to empower health workers to access the mental health care and support they may need, while equipping employers, policymakers and other decision-makers with resources to eliminate systemic barriers to mental health care.

This campaign includes six core actions, two of which are about the work of PHPs!
