It is an honor to address you for the first time in this medium as President. Stepping into this role, I am struck not only by the momentum our organization has built but also by the incredibly personal nature of the work we do every day.
I begin my term at a time of significant progress for the FSPHP, following the launch of standards like the PEERTM and ETATM programs, and advancement of safe haven and confidentiality initiatives to strengthen our states’ work with healthcare professionals. Every standard we raise ensures that when an individual is in need, they are met with confidentiality, compassion, and unparalleled expertise.
