Tina Simpson, MD

Dr. Simpson received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1991. After completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Simpson practiced in Louisville, Kentucky, for 25 years.

Dr. Simpson became involved with the Kentucky Physicians Health Foundation initially as a participant in 2014. Since that time, she completed additional education in the field of addiction medicine and became a certified MRO.

Dr. Simpson became the medical director of The Healing Place, Louisville, in January 2020. In December 2020, she took on the role of associated medical director of the KPHF under the tutelage of Dr. Greg Jones. Dr. Simpson assumed the role of Medical Director in June 2021. She continues to serve The Healing Place as a member of the board of directors and serves as commissioner for the Kentucky Lawyers Assistance Program.
